Staff Senate's Purpose
The Staff Senate and its elected senators represent YOU to the campus leadership. Our job is to advocate for staff in the areas of compensation, benefits, safety, parking and other workplace issues.
Celebrating Staff
The Staff Senate knows that we need to appreciate the hard-working staff of the University of Arkansas. Every year we orchestrate the Staff Celebration Picnic in May and the Staff Appreciation Week in October.
Recognizing Staff Excellence
The University relies on staff to continue the tradition of excellence. The Staff Senate recognizes staff who have contributed the most to the University through the employee of the quarter, employee of the year, part time staff of the year, and staff team of the year awards
Giving Back to Staff
The Staff Senate organizes the yearly Staff Senate Scholarship and Razorgifts programs contribute back to staff that make this campus great.
How can you help campus staff?
- Attend a Staff Senate meeting, 3-4:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month in CORD 349 (Cordia Harrington Center for Excellence) or online via MS Teams. The Schedule of Meetings has details.
