The diagram above (PDF) outlines the U of A’s eight divisions: Academic Affairs, Finance & Administration, Student Affairs, Research & Innovation, Advancement, and Chancellor. For comparable Staff Senate representation, the remaining two divisions, Government & Community Relations and Intercollegiate Athletics, are combined with the Chancellor Division. The related organizational chart (PDF) can be searched to find the division of your department, program, office or unit. Your Staff Senate ballot will open to your division automatically and as well as offer the At-Large ballot.

Voting for the 2026-2027 Staff Senate opened Monday, April 13, 2026. Questions or concerns — or issues on completing the online ballot — may be directed to sselect@uark.edu.

To cast your ballot, you'll need to click through every page. There's a page break between your division and the at-large ballot. No part of the ballot is cast until you complete or move past the at-large ballot! Voting ended at 5 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2026.

2026-27 Staff Senate Online Ballot — voting has ended for the year

The following positions were open for the spring 2026 election (all three-year terms):

Two open seats in the Academic Affairs Division — includes all colleges, libraries, centers, Global Campus and related units
One open seat in the Advancement Division — includes University Advancement, Industry Engagement, Arkansas Alumni Association and related units
No open seats in the Chancellor's Division — includes the Chancellor’s Office and the offices of the Vice Chancellors for Intercollegiate Athletics and Government & Community Relations
Four open seats in the Finance and Administration Division — includes Facilities, UAPD, Transit & Parking, Business & Financial Affairs, Human Resources, Business Affairs, IT Services and related units
One open seat in the Research & Innovation Division — includes the offices of the Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation, Research Administration, Tech Ventures, UA Press, and related units
Two open seats in the Student Affairs Division — includes Pat Walker Health Center, Arkansas Union, Housing, Student Activities, Greek Life, University Recreation and related units
Three open seats in the At-Large section — any staff member from any division may be nominated; all employees may vote on these positions
